Adlerian techniques for Parents and Educators

Adlerian psychology has contributed to the well-being of families and their children for over 100 years. Techniques used in Adlerian sessions are simple and straightforward, yet highly effective. The participant will learn about basic Adlerian principles which are: Socially embedded, Subjective, Self-determining and creative, Goal-directed (or teleological), Holistic in nature, Social justice and systemic thinking, and Philosophical orientation.

 

This workshop will explore the 4 goals of misbehavior, the different kinds of parenting styles, birth order, and other factors affecting behavior. There will be demonstration of Adlerian techniques and theory, as well as open discussion and questions.
